Heather struggled with plantar fasciitis for ten years on and off. Foot pain along with a host of other injuries came on when Heather started running marathons. She started running as a way to cope with the loss of her father from a rare neurological disease during her Freshman year of college. Running was therapy.

Heather ran her first marathon at the end of her senior year in college and was hooked. As she continued to log more and more running miles the injuries set in. Every once in awhile she got a glimpse of running pain free and finally got fed up with being an ‘injured runner.’

She set out on a mission to heal all of the injuries in her body. Heather knew there had to be a way to run pain free - she saw other people doing it. You know, the one’s who look like they are floating while they run? That.

After becoming a certified personal trainer and 200 hour + 500 hour trained yoga instructor, Heather figured out the secret sauce to kicking plantar fasciitis to the curb - a whole body approach.

Heather is an Ironman finisher, has complete dozens of marathons and ultramarathons (any distance beyond 26.2 miles). Her current passion is in SwimRun events. She loves to to run trails and spends time hiking with her family and their dog, Omena. Heather is a mom to Wiley & Sedona Muhlhauser, stepmom to Kenzie Muhlhauser and loving wife of Ted Muhlhauser.

Having pain free feet & a pain free body is essential to her HAPPINESS.
